Romero -- Mr. Charles Romero, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 4, 1999. Mr. Romero is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mrs. Susie Romero. He is also survived by his daughter, Rose Ann Jaramillo and husband, Andy F.; five sons, Fred Bustos, Charles G. Romero, Maximilliano Romero and wife, Tobylynn, Mark L. Romero and wife, Diann and Chris Romero and fiancee, Yolene; 19 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many cousins and friends. Mr. Romero was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 6:30 p.m. Gabriella Nieto reciting. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with visitation at the church after 8:30 a.m. Deacon Padilla officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be his sons, Fred, Charles, Maximilliano, Mark, Chris and Casey Romero. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd., SW, in charge of the arrangements.
