Aragon -- Claudia Aragon, 81, beloved and devoted Mother, grandmother, and sister, was surrounded by her loving family when she was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 17, 1999. Mrs. Aragon was born on March 14, 1918 in Cubero, NM to Marcelino and Rosalia Gonzales; she was a resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church; she worked for Schwartzman Packing Co. for 19 years and enjoyed working with ceramics. She is survived by four sons, Ernest Aragon Jr., Sisto Aragon, Joe Aragon, and Tommy Aragon; four daughters, Mary Montoya, Pauline Aragon, Brenda De La Cruz, Anna Marie Roman and husband, Miguel all of Albuquerque; 20 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Marcelino Gonzales and wife, Anna Marie. Visitation will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Marcelino Aragon, Bruno Aragon, Rudy Lovato, Julian Aragon, Levon Van Ert and Johnny Ray Aragon.
