Leverenz -- Evelyn L. Leverenz, 64, a life-long resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, November 25, 1999. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Richard Leverenz of Albuquerque; son, Martin Shaw and wife, Elizabeth of Las Vegas, NV; daughter, Wendy Leverenz Barker and husband, Zane of Albuquerque; sister, Patricia Weegen and husband, Ernie of Phoenix, AZ; and numerous other relatives. Mrs. Leverenz was preceded in death by her parents, Mervin and Patricia Lucille Porter Latin. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1953. Mrs. Leverenz loved to go to the theater. She loved music and loved to dance when she was able. Mrs. Leverenz received lots of joy in having her family around her when she would prepare dinners. She was a loving wife and mother and all who knew her will miss her beautiful smile. Services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 1999, 10:00 a.m., French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE, with Chaplain Dave Albert officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernie Weegen, Zane Barker, Keith M. Leverenz, Doug Champlin, Chuck Sparks, and Dan Sparks. Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Sanchez. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Monday, November 29, 1999 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
