Olivas -- Mary E. Olivas, 72, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, died Thursday, September 16, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Maclovio"Mac" Olivas; son, Virgil Olivas; daughter, Julie Flores; sons, Arthur Olivas and wife, Vicky, George Olivas and wife, Barbara, and Robert Olivas and wife, Arlene; daughters, Genevieve Valdez and Elizabeth Chavez and husband, Jerry; brother, Virginio Casaus and wife, Mary and Fred Casaus; sisters, Bessie Berbiglia and husband, Joe, Marcella Romero and husband, Joseph, all of Albuquerque and Nina Chavez and husband, Johnny of Cuba, NM; 25 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Olivas was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Church and she was active in the church choir. Her family was her main devotion and she will be remembered for generously giving of herself and her time. Rosary will be recited Sunday, September 19, 1999, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 20, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at St. Therese Little Flower Church, 3400 4th St. NW. Pallbearers will be Zachary Olivas, Christopher Olivas, Jonathon Olivas, Joshua Flores, Michael Valdez and Richard Casaus. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marty Oselio, Anthony Osello, Gilbert Casaus, and Ronnie Casaus. Interment will take place 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Sunday, September 19, 1999, 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
