Davidson -- Ruth Davidson, 77, of Liberty, Missouri (formally of Albuquerque), died Monday, September 13, 1999 at the Pleasant Valley Care Center. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, at the Liberty United Methodist Church. Burial in New Hope Cemetery, Liberty. The family suggests contributions to the Liberty United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Friends may call from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, at the Church-Archer-Pasley Chapel, Liberty. Mrs. Davidson was born January 19, 1922 in Cromwell, Ind., the daughter of John R. and Laura E. Hart Twaits. Mrs. Davidson was a sales clerk for J.C. Penney Department Store from 1972 until 1985. From 1985 until her retirement in 1994, she worked as a greeter and cashier for the Liberty Wal-Mart Store. She was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church. Her husband, George W. Davidson, died in 1985. She is survived by four sons, Duane and wife, Mary Jo Davidson, Jack and wife, Connie Davidson, both of Liberty, Robert and wife, Leaetta, Lathrop and Ron Davidson of Liberty; a brother, Melvin Twaite of Kimmell, Ind.; a sister, Alice Cripe of Millerburg, Ind.; five grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Rob Davidson, Bill Davidson, Jamie Davidson, and Stephen Davidson.
