Smith -- Leonard A. Smith"Smitty", a resident of Bernalillo, died September 11, 1999. A beloved father, he is survived by his son, Mark R. Smith, his son's wife, Carrie L. Smith; his ex-wife, Mary L. Smith; sisters, Linda and Susan of Connecticut; eight other brothers and sisters; and his mother and father in Connecticut. Retired Bernalillo Police Officer. Cremation is taking place and service will take place 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14 at Church of Latter Day Saints, 325 Avenida D Bernalillo. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Memorial Fund at First State Park in Bernalillo to help family with expenses.
