Mcilroy -- Carol McIlroy, 75, a resident of Albuquerque for 48 years, died Tuesday, August 3, 1999. She is survived by her son, David McIlroy and wife, Karen of Eagle River, AK; daughters, Jennifer Ricker and husband, Fred of Westchester, CA and Cathy Gamblin and husband, Jim of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Chris and Scott McIlroy and Kelsey and Collin Ricker; and sister-in-law, Valeria Farmer of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. McIlroy in 1992. Mrs. McIlroy was a member of Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ. She was very active in the art community of Albuquerque for over 40 years. Services will be held Monday, 7:00 p.m., at Montgomery Blvd. Church of Christ, 7201 Montgomery Blvd. NE, with Bruce T. Thweatt, Minister, officiating. Interment will take place Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at the Stroud Creek Cemetery in Tolar, TX. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Sunday, 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home, 5700 Winter Haven Rd.
