Tietjen -- Wesley Alma Tietjen, 83, a resident of Belen, passed away in Raton, NM on Wednesday, June 23, 1999. He was born in Bluewater, NM on May 7, 1916. He was a lifetime rancher and horseman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Melva Etta Tietjen; daughters, Jenny Lou Tietjen, Lavern Carver and Alma Louise Alexander; his father and mother, Alma Tietjen and Clarinda Roundy; sister, Elva Lee; and his brother, Bert Roundy. Wesley is survived by two sons, Ted and his wife, Dianne and Ned and his wife, Janet; one daughter, Bobby Jo Randles and her husband, Monte; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; two sons-in-law, Dale Carver and Clay Alexander; four sisters, Valma Hakes, Rinda Bell, Floss Chapman and Retha Wengert; and one sister-in-law, Jean Roundy. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Romero Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Romero Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N.
