Yokley -- Nathan Hale Yokley, age 3, son of Alan and Diana Yokley, went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Wednesday, February 3, 1999. Born October 22, 1995, he came into this world on his mommy and daddy's first anniversary. He was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at one year of age. He is now free to run and play, laugh and talk, things he couldn't do in his life. He is survived by his parents and sister, Marty of the family home; paternal grandmother, Phyllis Yokley and his maternal grandparents, Bill and Kay Hale, all of Albuquerque; aunt, Karen and uncle, Doug Price; cousin, Megan of Craig, CO; uncle, Andrew Hale and aunt, Wendy; cousins, Zachary and Elyssa of Virginia Beach, VA; great-grandfather, Woody"Big Pappa" Thorp; many great-aunts and uncles; and a host of friends who provided care and support for Nathan. Services will be held Saturday, February 6, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at Sandia Baptist Church, 9429 Constitution Ave. NE, with Pastor Robert Butler officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Pallbearers will be Ray Cravey, John Shaheen, Tracy Nickell and Cliff Hoppman. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Friday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cerebal Palsy Parents Assoc., c/o Carrie Tingley Children's Hospital, 1127 University Blvd. NE, Suite 2019, 87102.
