Scheibe -- Lucile G. Scheibe, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1947, died Friday, March 5, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Roy W. Mangum of Hood River, OR, Joy G. Mangum of New Albany, IN, Doy C. Mangum and wife, Ellen of Indianapolis, IN, Loy H. Mangum of Albuquerque, Carl D. Mangum and wife, Paula of Leesville, LA, and Jasper H. Mangum and wife, Jan of Albuquerque; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Scheibe was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Scheibe. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints - North Valley Ward. She will be remembered by her family and friends as an author, a poet, an artist and a master of imitating animal calls such as coyotes and doves. Services will be held Monday, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-North Valley Ward, 1100 Montano Road NW with Bishop Carl Osborn conducting. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be her six sons. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
