Romo -- Mrs. Matilde M. Romo, 90, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on June 15, 1999. Mrs. Romo is survived by one son, Tony M. Romo; one daughter-granddaughter, Doris Chavez and husband, Rudy; sister, Dora Natividad; two grandsons, Robert Romo and Donald Encinas and wife, Wanda; great-granddaughter, Antonio, Rudy, Christopher, Marisol, Joaquin, Gabriella, Bianca, Christina and Laura; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Romo was preceded in death by her husband, Albino and her grandson, Fred Encinas. Mrs. Romo was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Thursday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with viewing at the church after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Rosary Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Joel Garner, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dennis Chavez, Antonio Romo, Rudy E. Chavez, Christopher Chavez, Herman Martinez and Isaac Ruybalid. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
