Ayon -- Mrs. Emma Ayon, 71, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on May 12, 1999. Mrs. Ayon was the beloved wife of 27 years to Mr. John Ayon. She is also survived by five daughters, Rachel Vital, Julia Ann Gonzales, Cathy Marie Halliday and husband, Stephen, Dolores Jean Davalos and husband, James and Sharon Roseann Rubio; three sons, Eloy Anthony Gonzales and wife, Debra, Patrick Robert Gonzales and Dennis Andrew Gonzales; step-children, Alexandra A. Bravo and Richard Ayon; several beloved brothers and sisters; 14 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Ayon was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited by the Legion of Mary on Friday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning, 9:00 a.m., at the Church of the Ascension with final visitation at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Anthony Bolman, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell Gonzales, Nathan Martinez, Eloy D. Gonzales, Samuel Davalo and Jerry Jaramillo. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
