Tapia -- Rosella"Mama Rose" Maria Tapia, 69, beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, was called home by the Lord Saturday, March 27, 1999. Mrs. Tapia was born on March 29, 1929 in Segundo, CO to Cipriano and Lupita Bustos; she was a parishioner of San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Charles Tapia of the family home; five daughters, Tommie Tapia, Carolyn Tapia, both of Albuquerque, Maxine Harris of Santa Ana, CA, Antoinette Young and husband, Denny, Mary Romero and husband, Paul of Moriarty, NM; one son, Lawrence Romero, also of Moriarty; one granddaughter, Alexis Young; grandson Nicholas Young, both of Moriarty. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated this morning, 11:30 a.m., at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church. Enichement will take place Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW, 243-5222.
