Hsi -- Dr. Steven D. Hsi, M.D., 44, a resident of the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, died Thursday, March 25, 1999. Dr. Hsi was born in Clovis, New Mexico, and practiced medicine in Albuquerque since 1987. He was the Physician Medical Director of the Rio Grande Family Clinic and Albuquerque Clinical Trials. He graduated from Stanford University in 1977 with the Bachelor Degree in Biological Science. He received his M.D. degree from the Case Western University in 1982 and did his intern and residency in the Santa Rosa Hospital affiliated with the University of California at San Francisco. He was well loved by his colleagues and his patients because of his dedication to his profession and his deep concerns for the well-being and health of his patients. Dr. Hsi is a life long Presbyterian and an active member of the First Presbyterian Church and its TGIF fellowship. Survivors include Hsi wife, Beth Corbin; two sons, Andy S. Hsi and David C. Hsi; his parents, David & Kathy Hsi; his older brother, Andrew C. Hsi, M.D. and wife, Kristin Steffgen; one nephew, Anders Hsi and one niece, Kiersta Hsi. The family suggests memorials be made to First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust Ave. N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87102, for its Youth & Children Ministries. A visitation will be held at First Presbyterian Church, I-25 & MLK exit, on Monday, March 29th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 30th with Dr. Paul Debenport officiating. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. S.E., in charge of arrangements.
