Scianimanico -- Clara M. Scianimanico, 77, died Friday, April 16, 1999. Clara was born in Chicago and moved with her family to Albuquerque in 1977. She is survived by her sons, Andrew and wife, Robyn of Albuquerque, and Rafael and wife, Cynthia of San Diego; grandchildren, Reece of Albuquerque and Lorrenzo and Nicole, both of San Diego. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicola Scianimanico in 1981. Clara was extremely dedicated to preserving the dignity of women who had mastectomy surgery by providing post-mastectomy apparel from 1985 through 1999. She was also a volunteer with the Office of Senior Affairs and the American Cancer Society. The family will hold a private service.
