Moore -- Ivan M. Moore, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died April 15, 1999 of heart failure. Ivan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Borghild (Borgie) Moore; his daughter, Barbara Hand and husband, Ken of Phoenix, AZ; sons, William Moore and wife, Bobbie of Dallas, TX, Michael Moore and wife, Ann of Albuquerque, Douglas Moore and wife, Terrie of Albuquerque, and David Moore of Artesia, CA. Ivan is also survived by brother, Forest Moore of St. Paul, MN; and sisters, Faye Lindaman and husband, Ivan of Applington, IA, Byrdena Schuneman and husband, Ben of Bradford, IL, Fran Cummings and husband, Bob of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Kari and Kristin E. Moore, Katie and Kristin A. Moore, Tim and Peter Moore, and Kimberly Hand. Ivan was born in 1913 in Wadena, Iowa and moved to Albuquerque in 1946 while in the Army. In 1948, he joined Sandia Corporation where he worked until his retirement in 1978. Ivan was active in scouting and loved to garden, raising award winning dahlias. He was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all who knew him and will be sorely missed. Memorial services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE on April 19, 1999 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the American Heart Assoc. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, in charge of arrangements.
