Couturier -- Ellen F. Lew Couturier, 67, a resident of Albuquerque since November 1996, died Saturday, May 8, 1999. She is survived by her husband, James Couturier of Albuquerque; daughter, Stephanie Lew and husband, Roger Allyn of Farmington; son, Stephen Lew of Hayward, CA; brother, Elton Fong and wife, Charli of San Leandro, CA; nieces, Marcella Fong McFadden, Anny Fong, and Kelly Fong; nephew, Michael Fong; and great-nephew, Jack McFadden. Ellen was preceded in death by her former husband, S. Blair Hutchison in 1993. She worked many years with the Federal Civil Service, retiring in 1985. Ellen then started a highly successful catering business in Savannah, GA. Services will be held Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary - Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Rev. Dave Hartenberger, officiating. Entombment will be Wednesday, 2:00 p.m., at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association of New Mexico, 216 Truman NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108, or a charity of choice. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
