Cercone -- Charles Edward Cercone born in Valdez, CO May 17, 1911 to Umberto Cercone and Victoria Mantelli died peacefully at the home of his daughter and son-in-law in Albuquerque on May 3, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jenny Tomsic; and step-son, Dirk Boggs. Charles was a prominent business owner in Albuquerque for over 30 years. Survived by his daughter, Vickie Gorelick and husband, Robert; grandson, David; granddaughter, Allison; step-children, Daniel Boggs and wife, Debbie Padilla and husband, Mike Boggs and wife, Jeff Shepherd and wife; step-grandchildren, Joey Padilla and wife, Anthony Padilla, Dano Boggs, Michael Boggs, Amy Boggs, Jana Boggs; step great-grandson, Joey Tyler; niece, U-berta Gatti; and nephews, Anton and John Tomsic. Services will be held, Thursday, May 6th, 11:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7100 Paseo del Norte NE with Father Arkad Biczak celebrant. Entombment will take place at Gate of Heaven. Pallbearers will be Joey Padilla, Jeff Shepherd, Albert Padilla, Daniel Boggs, Mike Boggs and Dano Boggs. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Padilla, David Gorelick and Allison Gorelick. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Wednesday, May 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
