Caggiano -- Eleanor Caggiano, 83, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 20 years, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 1999. Eleanor was born May 18, 1915 in Brooklyn, New York. She had been a Dental Hygienist before retiring. Eleanor was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Neilson and husband, Karl of Rio Rancho; one sister, Geraldine Pavia of Maryland; four grandchildren, Kim Hartnett of New York, Robin Almanzar of Rio Rancho, Cindy Sutkaitis of Albuquerque, and Charlie Neilson of Rio Rancho; one great-grandchild, Kevin Montano of Albuquerque. There will visitation today, Thursday, January 7, 1999, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, and on Friday, January 8, 1999, from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday, January 9, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in the Floral Garden Mausoleum in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
