MARTINEZ -- Edward J. Martinez, age 47, a loving son, brother and friend, passed away September 8, 2003. He was preceded in death by his sister, Esther Chavez and brother, Gabriel A. Martinez. Edward is survived by his father, Eddie G. Martinez; his mother, Mary A. Martinez; his sister, Donna Alfarie; his brothers, Elias Martinez and wife, Lucille, Marty Martinez, Martin Martinez, and numerous other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A viewing will be held in the Chapel of Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St NW, on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
