GOMEZ -- Trancito (Trancy) O. Gomez, age 47, beloved son, brother, and grandson was called home to be with the Lord our savior, Monday, September 8, 2003. Trancy was born in Las Vegas NM and was a resident of Bernalillo. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose G. Gomez. He is survived by his loving mother, Stella Gomez of Bernalillo; sisters, Isabel Martinez of Albuquerque, Jane Saiz and husband Manuel of Las Vegas, NM, Mary Gomez-Casillas and husband Danny of Corrales, NM; brothers Lawrence Gomez, Tony Gomez, John Gomez, Roger Gomez and wife Monica all of Albuquerque. Also surviving are his maternal grandfather, Lorenzo Aragon; several nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. Visitations will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary, where a rosary will be recited Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Michael Gomez, Marvin Gomez, Curtis Martinez, Manuel Saiz, Jr., Daniel Casillas, Jr., Carlos Gomez and Johnny Gomez.
