GILMORE -- Mary D. Gilmore, a loyal resident of Los Alamos for over forty years, died in her sleep in the early morning hours on Sunday, September 7, 2003. Born in Pueblo, Colorado on April 4, 1925, she had an indomitable spirit and a love of laughter that endeared her to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gilmore, and son, Gray Gilmore. She is survived by three daughters, Robin Gauthier and husband, Jack Gauthier, Wendy Gilmore and Polly McWilliams and her husband, Bennie McWilliams; nine grandchildren, Anna Gilmore, Jessica Gilmore, Nicholas Gauthier, Emily Gauthier, Kelly McWilliams, Benjamin McWilliams, Robert McWilliams and Elizabeth McWilliams, one great-grandchild, Faith Gilmore and also, her sister, Frances Richards; her brother, John Gray; and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary had many lifelong friends and new companions who filled her days, especially in the months before her passing, with special meaning. She will be greatly missed by us all. A memorial service will be held at the Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, 3900 Trinity Drive in Los Alamos at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2003. The Rev. Dr. Colin P.
