Ahlefelder -- Andrew Terryn Ahlefelder, 38, a resident of Albuquerque for 23 years, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2000. Andrew was the beloved son of Carole Terryn Ahlefelder and the late Col. Henry J. Ahlefelder. He is also survived by his loving sister, Karen Ahlefelder Watkins and husband, Alfred of Bethesda, MD; niece, Madeleine; nephew, William; brother, Henry John Ahlefelder of Amsterdam, Netherlands; grandmother, Dorothy Terryn of Northport, NY; aunt, Dorothea Cook of Northport, NY; aunt and uncle, Joan and Ewald Gauchel of Eichholz, Germany; longtime family friend, Charles Hausenfleck of Albuquerque, who Andrew always said was a special blessing to him and his mother. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2000, 10:00a.m. at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum Chapel, 7500 Paseo del Norte N.E. with Father Scott Mansfield, Celebrant. Friends may visit on Friday from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
