Chacon -- Mr. Desiderio E. Chacon died Wednesday in Albuquerque at the age of 62. Mr. Chacon was born July 1, 1938 in Vallecitos, NM. He was also an active member of the Barelas Community. Mr. Chacon is survived by his wife, Mary Rose Chacon; children, Johnny P. Chacon and wife, Heidi, Jesse Chacon and wife, Imelda, and Darline E. Chacon; and grandchildren, Victoria Chacon, Joshua Chacon, Manuel Chacon, Jose Chacon, Jessy Chacon, and Marisa Chacon. He is also survived by seven brothers, Bernabel Chacon, Isidoro Chacon, Addie Chacon and wife, Eileen, Ben Chacon and wife, Cora, Bon Chacon and wife, Carleen, Timoteo Chacon and wife, Candelaria, and Tomas Chacon; sisters-in-law, Inez Jaramillo, and Betty Lucero and husband, Magdeleno; brother-in-law, Lalo Madril; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Chacon will be held on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
