Barreda -- John M. Barreda, age 52, died December 4, 2000 in Chino, CA. He was preceded in death by one brother, James Bonilla. He is survived by wife, Debra Barreda; and daughter, Jamie Barreda of the family home; and daughter, Tina Cruz and husband, Ed of North Carolina; sister, Diane Barreda; brother, Joe Barreda and wife, Becca of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Matthew Cruz, Nicholas Cruz, Ashleigh Cruz all of North Carolina; one uncle, Ben Alvarez and wife, Gwen of Fort Worth, TX; two nieces and one nephew. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. and moved with his parents to Santa Fe in the 70's. He lived in Santa Fe for two years moving to CA. in the late 70's where he met his wife, Debra of twenty years. A wake will be held Thursday, December 7, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Friday, December 8, 2000 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Risen Savior Catholic Church 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE with burial to follow at 12:00 p.m. Santa Fe Memorial Gardens 417 Redeo Rd.
