Stewart -- Paul Stewart, 78, died January 21, 2000 after a long illness. He was a retired Navy veteran and a longtime resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by parents, Clark and Roma Stewart; sister, Marie; in-laws, Atilano, Alvin and Josefita"Pepa" Leyba. He is survived by his loving wife, Eva Stewart, originally of Pena Blanca; eight children, Eddie Torres and wife, Dede, Theresa Armijo and husband, Jimmy, Larry Torres and family, Christine Sandoval and husband, Lawrence, Ruth Hedrick and family, Stanley Hedrick and Deanna, Paul Stewart Jr. and Linda, Robert Stewart and wife, Lisa; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pena Blanca at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2000, with Father Hilarie officiating and Burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
