Peterson -- Carolyn N. Peterson passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, at her Rio Communities home in Belen. Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Carolyn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in El Paso, graduating from UTEP where she majored in Art. Our soulful, beautiful lover of life, music, all the arts; our lady of the Valley, is survived by her twin sister, Marolyn Peterson and beloved nephew, Richard Semple IV; nephews, Julian Islas, Donny and Jonathan Peterson; nieces, Kristina Islas and Jennifer Phillips; brother, Don Peterson; sister, Debra Islas, all from El Paso, TX, Anthony and Santa Teresa, NM. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Nancy Peterson. Carolyn was a gentle, lovely flower of the Universe. We will miss her profoundly.
