Brinkman -- Peggy Brinkman - August 24, 1953 to September 6, 2000. Survived by husband, Jim; and daughters, Shaina and Joy. Peggy lived her life from her heart. Peggy inspired in work and play. In Peggy's work and workshops, she always left people with an improved sense of self and a greater enthusiasm for life. She loved the earth and its elements; water (especially the beach); air (especially hot air balloons); animals; she loved most everything. Peggy was a perfect mother. Her daughter's needs, wants, and desires always came first. She loved her darlings with all her heart and soul. Peggy was a perfect wife. She did everything in her power to make her husband's life joyful and complete. She left her marriage with nothing unresolved. Peggy lived in the realm of magic and miracles, and love. God touched her every day. Peggy battled with cancer for more than eight years, always with courage. Until the day she died, everyone who visited Peggy to comfort her, was comforted. Everyone who prayed for her was blessed. Everyone who knew Peggy loved her. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Contributions to the Presbyterian Hospice in Peggy's name are appreciated. The hospice provided miraculous support to Peggy and her loved ones during her final two weeks. They made the death process comforting and beautiful, and alleviated Peggy's and her husband's fear of death. A Memorial service will be conducted Sunday, 1:00 p.m., at the First Church of Religious Science, 3320 San Pedro NE. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, Albuquerque, 505-343-8008.
