Vigil -- Rosella"Sister" Vigil, 64, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, February 19, 2000, with her family at her side. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Isidro B. Vigil of Albuquerque; sons, Ben Vigil and wife, Yvonne and Gene Vigil and wife, Debbie, all of Albuquerque; daughters, Lynn Chick and husband, James of Espanola and Noretha Vigil and fiancé, Luis Jimenez of Albuquerque; ten grandchildren; sister, Iris Alford and husband, Al of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Gilbert Apodaca of Albuquerque, Henry Apodaca and wife, Dolly of Belen and Alfred Apodaca and wife, Joyce of Brook Park, MN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd. SE, with Alice Martinez, Teresa Sandoval and Vickie Bonnie reciting. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at San Jose Parish. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may visit San Jose Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd. SE, Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. until Rosary. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
