Contreras -- Abe Ray Contreras, 23, passed away Monday after a tragic accident. He leaves behind his fiance, Billie Moore; and a beautiful daughter, Ashley Renee. He is also survived by his father and mother, Joe and Sharon Contreras; two sisters, Alexis and Amy; and several other family members of Las Cruces. No one can fully share the sorrow his sudden untimely death has brought to his family and friends. We take comfort in the knowledge Abe will live on as an organ donor. He will be missed and always remembered. A Memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 20, 10:00 a.m., at 5801 Coors SW (physical location is Coors Road to one mile south of Gun Club, turn right at Pajarito). A Memorial service for his final resting place will be held Saturday in Las Cruces, location to be determined.
