Sharp -- Eula Mae Sharp, 87, died January 29, 2000, in Olive Branch, MS. Mrs. Sharp was a resident of Albuquerque from 1949 to 1967. She was a retired nurse, having worked for VA Hospital here in Albuquerque. Mrs. Sharp served a term as president of the New Mexico State Nurses Association and was on a national committee on nursing standards. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Nesby Sharp; by a daughter, Ellen Staleup and her husband, Gordon; son, Wayne Sharp and his wife, Mary; and by three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were handled by the Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Memorial donations may be made to Ponderosa Christian Camp, 12300 Indian School Rd. NE 87112.
