Dushane -- Mr. James Douglas DuShane, 82, a resident of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2000, at the home of daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Alfred Vasquez. Mr. DuShane was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Roswell and 43 years a member of St. Mark's on the Mesa Church, while residing in Albuquerque. He devoted 43 years of his life, in Albuquerque, at Van Atta Laboratories and community service with the Elks Club. Mr. DuShane was born August 26, 1917, in Winchester, Virginia, to the late Virginia Faulkner Fuller and James Ross DuShane. Also May Faulkner and Hogan Douglas Fuller, his grandparents. Mr. DuShane is survived by his wife of 61 years, Helen Glass DuShane; daughter, Virginia D. Vasquez and her husband, Al Vasquez of Albuquerque; three grandchildren, Shelly Bergen of Durango, Christopher McAdoo of Tucson, AZ, Amy McAdoo of Albuquerque, and her two children, Ashley and Jakob Pino; son, Douglas Glass DuShane and his wife, Sian of San Antonio, TX and children, Megan and Joshua DuShane. Memorial Service is 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at St. Mark's on the Mesa Episcopal Church, 431 Richmond Place NE, to celebrate the life of Mr. James Douglas DuShane. Father Chuck Collins, Father Jim Trainor of St. Mark's Church and Father Bob Williams of St. Andrews Church in Roswell. The family will greet friends immediately following the service in the Church Library. Family members wish to thank their many friends whose sympathy and thoughtfulness will be greatly remembered and deeply appreciated.
