Shaw -- Lillie C. Shaw passed away Thursday, March 16, 2000 at her home in Escondida, NM, where she was born December 20, 1920 to Jose and Teresita Baca Crespin. Mrs. Shaw was a school teacher for over 35 years in the Magdalena and Socorro area and Principal of the Sanchez Elementary School. She was a member of the Socorro Golf Assoc. and an avid bowler. Lillie will be missed by all her family and former students. She is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; daughter, Sandra Gonzales and husband, Tony of Socorro; brothers, Andy Crespin and wife, Gloria of Albuquerque and Tom Crespin and wife, Pauline of Socorro; sister, Florence Foster and husband, Ray of Socorro; grandchildren, Ryan, Vince and Brandi Gonzales; great-grandchildren, Anthony Maloney and Christian Gonzales. Visitation will be held Monday, March 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, at the Lemitar Catholic Church in Lemitar, NM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, at the San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro with Father Bill Sanchez as Celebrant. Burial will be in the Lemitar Cemetery. Pallbearers are Ryan Gonzales, Vince Gonzales, Eden Foster, Felix Crespin, Paul Crespin, David Wood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Socorro General Hospital Hospice, PO Box 1009, Socorro, NM 87801. Arrangements by Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, Socorro, NM.
