Manole -- Tom Nick Manole, 75, died Thursday, March 16, 2000. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Niki Manole of Albuquerque; daughter, Evangeline Manole Pavlakos and husband, Dr. Bill Pavlakos of Albuquerque; son, Nick Tom Manole and wife, Asimina of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Nectarios Pavlakos, Rose Pavlakos, Thanasi"Tom" Manole, and Niki Manole, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Despo Svouliandopoulos, Vasiliki Vasilopoulous and husband, Aristides, and Kalliopi Papavalsilopoulos, all of Grevena, Greece; brother, Eftimios Manolis of Dracut, MA; brothers-in-law, Chris Daskalos and wife, Milly, Pete Daskalos and wife, Soula, all of Albuquerque; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Manole came from Greece March 23, 1955 and married his bride Niki Daskalos in Las Vegas, NM the same year. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church for 45 years. He was also a member of A.H.E.P.A and a 32 Degree Mason. Mr. Manole owned many bars and restaurants in Albuquerque and later was in the real estate business. A Trisagion will be held Sunday, March 19, 2000, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE (Lomas & Eubank), with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Services will be held Monday, March 20, 2000, 3:00 p.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos, officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Memorial Fund, 308 High St. SE, 87102.
