Foulk -- Arlene Wingerd Folk, age 93, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2000. She moved to Albuquerque in 1964 from Leavenworth, KS. She was born in Donegal, KS on January 19, 1907. Mrs. Foulk was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Foulk. Survivors include her three children, David Foulk and wife, Anita of Scottsdale, AZ, Delores Alexander and husband, Jerry of Las Vegas, NV, and Shirley Wilburn of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Foulk taught school in Kansas from 1931 until 1964 when she came to Albuquerque and continued her teaching at St. Vincent Academy from 1965 to 1967. She was a member of La Mesa Presbyterian Church for 35 years and was also a member of P.E.O. Chapter L. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2000, 3:00 p.m., at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper Ave. NE, with Rev. Trey Hammond officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated in memory of Arlene Foulk to La Mesa Presbyterian Church. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mrs. Foulk, 891-8200.
