Baros -- Joe (Eloy) Baros, 60, passed away on May 9, 2000, at home with his loved ones by his side. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy M. Baros; and his parents, Juan and Lucinda Baros. Joe was a great man of character and friend to all, always willing to lend a helping hand without hesitation and with genuine concern. He was loved by many. Joe loved the outdoors and spent much of his time doing the things he loved to do and during his illness, continued doing the things he loved to do and with high spirits. He always managed to bring sunshine to a cloudy day. Joe is survived by three sons, Michael Baros and wife, Rubina, David Baros and Reuben Baros; three daughters, Cynthia Baros, Naomi Baros-Martinez and husband, Alfred, Sarah Baros and boyfriend, Melvin Cooper; eight grandchildren, Sean, Alexis, Zachary, and Christian Baros, Daija Cooper and Stephanie, Desiree and Elijah Martinez; brothers-in-law, L. Sammy Esquibel and wife, JoAnn, A. Louie Esquibel and wife, Carla, Ronald Esquibel, Mark Esquibel and Matthew Esquibel; sisters-in-law, Lucy Roybal and husband, Manuel, Nancy Esquibel and husband, Roy, Peggy Martinez and husband, Raymond, and Elizabeth Silva. Funeral services for Mr. Baros will be held on Saturday at the Azusa Christian Church, 201 Valencia Dr. NE, where the service will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Griego, Matthew Esquibel, Ronald Esquibel, Daniel Roybal, Manuel Roybal Jr., and Mark Esquibel. Honorary pallbearers will be Phillip Giron and Joe Kissinger. Visitation for Mr. Baros will be held on Friday, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A prayer service will be held on Friday evening, 7:30 p.m., at the Azusa Christian Church.
