Candelaria -- Aurelia Candelaria, 93, died Sunday, May 7, 2000 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her sisters, Eugenia Gerhardt, Louisa Flores and Esther C. Tenorio, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Eurenio Candelaria and wife, Tive of Santa Rosa, CA, Rendolfo Candelaria and wife, Agatha of Amarillo, TX, and Maguin Chavez and wife, Ella of Albuquerque; and many other family, nieces and nephews. Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents, Esequiel and Sinfornia Candelaria; brothers, Fred and Bennie Candelaria; and sister, Eliza Chavez. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, as well as a member of the Sacred Heart. Aurelia was a former employee of Pioneer Wear. The family wishes to thank Sunbridge West Mesa for their excellent care and compassion. Rosary will be recited Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo, Catholic Church, 1818 Coal Place SE. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Church with Father Joseph Thai, S.S.S. officiating. Pallbearers will be Cesario Chavez, Bill Tafoya, Andy Martinez, Gilbert Gerhardt, Esequiel Garcia and Dan Candelaria. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
