Klemetti -- Vivian Lee Klemetti passed away Monday, March 27. She was 84 years old. Vivian is survived by two sisters, Violet Miller and Nancy Stegman; four daughters and one son, Eileen Bennick of Hockley, TX, Lee Klemetti of Muskegon, MI, Ann McCoy of Albuquerque, Gail Aycock of Santa Fe, and Valerie Blessley of Vancouver, WA. Vivian has 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Vivian grew up on Isle Royale, Michigan. She was one of the first women to build and operate her own Ham Radio. She and her husband, Rey, met over the airwaves (EARLY E-MAIL). The Klemetti's moved to Albuquerque in 1968. Vivian was a broker and realtor for 30 years, working for Hooten-Stahl, Re/Max, and RECA Better Homes and Gardens. She belonged to Enchanted Mesa Sweet Adeline's, East Mesa Civitans and Eastridge Wesleyan Church. Visitation will be Friday evening, March 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal SE. Funeral services will be held there April 1 at 2:00 p.m. in the Palm Chapel. Vivian's Pastor, Jim Turner, of Eastridge Wesleyan Church, will officiate. Interment will follow at Sandia Memorial Garden, 9500 San Pedro NE. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
