De Herrera -- Margaret M."GiGi" De Herrera, 48, beloved daughter, sister and friend, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 26, 2000. Margaret was born on May 29, 1951 in Santa Fe. She is survived by her loving mother, Rose Velarde and husband, Francis of Albuquerque; three brothers, Richard Eloy De Herrera, Robert De Herrera and wife, Josephine, Raul Gonzales; seven sisters, Janet Sanchez, Lucille De Herrera, Della Mora and husband, Robert, Vickie Wormie, Roberta Gonzalez and fiancee, Glen Smith, Yolanda Yanguez and husband, Florentino, and Kathy Chavez and husband, Jesus; special companion, Emily Apache, her son, Tyrone, and his son, Amadeus; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and those who knew and loved her. Friends and family may visit this evening, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, where a Memorial Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., this evening. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
