Baca -- Gabriel R.W. Baca (C' de Baca), 57, died peacefully at his home in Albuquerque with his family by his side. He was a member of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church and was employed by Chavez Concrete. Mr. Baca was a descendant of the Tome' Land Grant through his grandmother, Mary C' de Baca and of the Ojo Del Espiritu Santo Land Grant (Guadalupe-Hidalgo Treaty, Jemez, NM) through his grandfather, Manuel C' de Baca. He was a loving grandfather. He was preceded in death by his father, Mike L. Baca. He is survived by his wife, Ermalinda Baca; his mother, Alice T. Baca; his sons, Gabriel John C' de Baca and wife, Pamela, Fabian Andrew Baca and wife, Veronica; his brothers, Steven Baca and wife, Gabrielle, Michael J. Baca and wife, Helen, Paul M. C' de Baca; his sisters, Rose Ravia, Yolanda Herrera and husband, Jose, Jody M. C' de Baca; four grandchildren, Robert Wyatt Sandoval, Nicole Therese C' de Baca, Cassandra Ellen C' de Baca, Amanda Margaret C' de Baca; seven nieces; three nephews; three great nieces; and one great nephew. A Visitation will be held on Sunday at Salazar & Sons Mortuary between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at St. Therese, 300 Mildred Ave. NW on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services for Mr. Baca will be held on Monday at St. Therese where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
