Klingenberg -- John Arthur Klingenberg, 35, was greeted by a host of relatives and friends and wrapped in his heavenly Fathers arms on June 22, 2000 after a brave battle with cancer. John graduated as Salutatorian of Broadway Baptist High School and he was a graduate of Houston Baptist University. He recently moved to Forth Worth, Texas and was a former resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Houston, Texas. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. John was loved and respected for his life goal of glorifying his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a member of A Pi K Fraternity at HBU. He was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration. John was an avid sport participant and fan and coached many soccer and baseball teams for his four children. He attends Helen Street Baptist Church in Fort Worth, and is a member at First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, New Mexico and had his former membership at Anderson Road Baptist Church of Houston, Texas. John is survived by is wife, Connie Hansen Klingenberg and four children, Jonathan, Catherine, Joshua, and Caroline of Fort Worth, Texas; parents, Jakob and Janell Klingenberg of Sugar Land, Texas; brother, Jay Klingenberg and his wife, Suzy and nieces, Jessica, Jayme, and Jordan of Sugar Land, Texas; sister, Julie Steen and her husband, Nathan and niece and nephew, Kimberly and Ryan of Brenhem, Texas; aunts and uncles, Walter and Liesel Klingenberg, Heinz and Barbara Klingenberg, Irwin and Irmgard Klingenberg all of Chicago, IL, Anneliesel Howton of Marion, IL, Herbert and Barbara Lengefeld, Elizabeth and Ed Lowe, Helen and Alan Knuckles, all of Eunice-Crowley, LA; and many loving cousins, relatives and friends. Friends are invited to visitation with family from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, June 25, 2000 at the Settegast-Kopf Funeral Home at Sugar Creek (William Trace Exit). Funeral Services for John will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2000 at Second Baptist Church's Chapel at Voss and Woodway with the Reverend Si Budagher of First Baptist Church, Rio Rancho, New Mexico officating. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 27, 2000 at Skyview Memorial Gardens, 7220 Fm 1187, Fort Worth, Texas 86140. Phone #817-478-6955.
