Wiegers -- Maureen Wiegers, a friend to all who knew her, left us November 17, 2000. She was a resident of Albuquerque for the last twenty years. She led a full life, enjoying bridge, travel, football, family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her three children; Rich and John Wiegers, both from Albuquerque, NM and Lisa Wiegers of Colorado Springs, CO; her sisters, Yvonne Foster, Albuquerque, NM, Mary Lou Heyer and husband, Clarence of Sherman Oaks, CA; brother-in-law, Claud Foster, Albuquerque, NM; and aunt, Lee Reeves, also from Albuquerque; nieces, nephews, and friends. Mass will be held Monday, November 20, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. at John the XXIII Catholic Community, 4823 Tramway Ridge Drive, NE with Reverend Arkad Biezak officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 19, 2000 from 4:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be John Wiegers, Ted Bratcher, Rick Wiegers, Gregg Ross, John Eglitis and Chris Foster.
