Vigil -- Eulogio Vigil, age 86, beloved brother, cousin, and uncle was welcomed into the arms of the Lord, our Savior, Thursday, January 31, 2002. Eulogio was born in Las Vegas, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Vigil December 1, 2001. Eulogio is survived by his devoted and loving sister-in-law, Irene Montoya and husband, John of Albuquerque; cousins, Frank Romero of Santa Fe and Alicia Urioste of Algodones; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Eulogio will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Special thanks is extended to the entire staff of the Paloma Blanca Nursing Home for the loving care given to Eulogio. Visitations will be Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Chapel, with The Reverend Richard Olona as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Funeral Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street, NW 898-3160.
