Kravetz -- Harry Kravetz, 93, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2002 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, December 9, 1908 to Phillip and Lena Kravetz, he spent most of his life in Tulsa, OK. Since 1988, he resided at The Montebello Retirement Community in Albuquerque. Harry owned Karvetz and Son Grocery in Tulsa for many years and retired from Affiliated Foods. In his retirement he enjoyed golf, poker, and spending time with family. He was a long-standing member of Congregation B'nai Emunah in Tulsa, and a member of Congregation B'nai Israel in Albuquerque. He was affiliated with B'nai Brith for many years. The family thanks Montebello for their loving care the past 13 years. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 40 years, Naomi, and his sister, Mamie. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Druxman and husband, Louis, of Albuquerque; his son, Leon Kravetz and wife, Susie, of St. Louis and an older sister, Esther Miller of Los Angeles. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Joel Druxman, Tucson, AZ, Eric Druxman, Norman, OK, Andrew Kravetz, Peoria, IL, and Lauri Kravetz, Washington, D.C. He was also blessed with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside service will be held Friday, February 22, 2002 in Tulsa, OK, with Rabbi Marc Fitzerman and Rabbi Arthur Kahn officiating.
