Scott -- Mary Paul Raglin Scott, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died suddenly Sunday, March 10, 2002. She was 83 years old and had lived a full and happy life. She loved her family and many friends and neighbors, was active in volunteer work and was an excellent card player, playing bridge with her friends several times a month. She was active all of her life, and loved to spend time hiking the woods around the family cabin in the Jemez Mountains. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and she was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Asbury Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband, Carl Scott; her daughter, Carolyn and husband, Art Peterson and children, Jill and Gary and his wife, Cindy; great-grandson, Zachary; her son, Carl Brance and wife, Joyce and children, Heather and husband, Doug Quartetti, Trisha and husband, Patrick Poitras; great-grandsons, Benjamin and Brandon; her son, Paul and wife, Sandie and children, Susan and Michael; daughter, Cindy and husband, Rick Rogers and children, Molly and Stacy. Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper NE, with Dr. Charles Crutchfield officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Wednesday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Contributions may be sent to the Assistance League of Albuquerque, 529 Chama NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Mary Paul spent many hours volunteering with dear friends there, and was proud of their many worthwhile projects for the community. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
