Fred is survived by is wife, Marky Bamert of the family home in Socorro; four sons, Steve Bamert and wife, Gail of Las Cruces, Mike Bamert and wife, Ann Lue of Fontana, CA., Donnie Bamert and wife, Terri of Sanora, TX., and Lonnie Bamert and wife, Helen of Albuquerque; one daughter, Wendy Jones and husband, David of Las Cruces; one step-son, Bill Littlefield and wife, Susan of San Diego, CA.; brother, Carl Bamert and wife, Jenny of Muleshoe, TX.; sister Nadine Dawson and husband Lester of Las Cruces; numerous grandchildren, other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Chavez -- Jose A. (Sharkie) Chavez, age 67, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, Sunday, March 10, 2002, while surround by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia; mother-in-law, Marie C de Baca; a son, Ray Chavez; daughters, Agnes Lovato, Diane Turano and husband, Vincent, Patricia Rizvi; step-daughters, Roberta Guzman and husband, Orlando, Celeste Miller and husband, Bill, Yvette Vargas and husband, Donald; 15 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and three great granddaughters; brother, Tony J. Chavez and wife, Estella; Sisters, Marie Maestas, Julie, Dolores and Jeanette; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Sharkie will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Jose retired from the Sandoval County; he was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force; he served as City Councilman for the town of Bernalillo; he also worked for Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo, where he instructed the Altar Servers, taught CCD classes, he was a Eucharist Minister, the Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #7633 of Bernalillo; a member of the 4th Degree Mandalor Council # 0682; he was past president of the Bernalillo Civitan Club. Jose was well known by many as Sharkie, he was a kind hearted man who always was willing to help others. Sharkie will always be remembered by his smile, and good sense of humor; he touched so many lives. Visitation will be today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Jose will lie in state from 7:00 p.m. till the time of Rosary, which will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be David Chavez, Jered Chavez, Johnny Chavez, Michael Turano, Orlando Guzman, and Bill Miller. Honorary Bearers will be Richard Stange, Tivo Lovato, Joe B. Comiskey -- Maria Isabel Comiskey, 43, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on March 8, 2002. Maria Isabel is survived by her parents, Gabriel and Mary (Terry) Romero; her son, Miguel (Mikey) Garcia; her brother, Aaron Romero; the father of her son, Miguel Garcia; her goddaughter, Cassandra Garcia; her nephew, Boluke Romero; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Conkling -- Charles E. Conkling died Sunday, March 10, 2002. He was born January 9, 1915 to Lela Hammond and Marion Conkling in Geronimo, OK. Mr. Conkling married Bernice Reynolds in January 1936 and they lived in Wichita Falls, TX where he owned and operated the Conkling Contracting Company. They moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1968 where he lived until his death. He is survived by his daughter, Sharla Reinhart; granddaughter, Leslie Ulery; and great-grandchildren, Toby and Amber Ulery, all of Albuquerque, NM. Among his hobbies were fishing, hunting, golfing, and gardening. He loved life and enjoyed his many friends. Engel -- Mary C. Engel, 94, a resident of Albuquerque since 1945, died on Saturday, February 23, 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Kay Miller of Albuquerque; brother, Howard Coy of Xenia, OH; sister-in-law, Ruth Coy of Lancaster, PA; brother-in-law, Raymond Huston of Kettering, OH; cousin, Marilyn DeAngelo of Los Lunas; David Quayle, who was like a son to her, of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred V. Engel in 1980. Mary taught in the Albuquerque schools for many years. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa and Kappa Kappa Iota honorary teachers sororities. She also belonged to the Albuquerque Association of Retired Teachers and had worked part time with the New Mexico Kidney Foundation. Private entombment will be held prior to the services. Faust -- Mildred L. Faust, 92, a resident of Albuquerque for ten years, died Sunday, March 10, 2002. She is survived by her sons, Robert Faust and wife, Jeannette of Austin, TX and James Faust and wife, Babette of LaVerne, CA; granddaughter, Sharon Gravitz and husband, Craig of Denver, CO; grandson, Michael Faust and wife, Laura of Tuscon, AZ; granddaughter, Maria Sanchez and husband, Herman of Albuquerque; grandson, Kevin Faust of California; granddaughter, Denise Yates and husband, Kyle of Japan; and grandson, Marc Faust of Los Angeles, CA; and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Faust. Mildred was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Garcia -- Silvia Garcia, 79, went home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2002. She was born on August 25, 1922 in Albuquerque, NM. Silvia was a parishioner of the San Jose De Duranes Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eusebio Garcia. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Bencomo and husband, Armando; grandsons, Eric-Christopher Garcia, Armando Bencomo Jr., Luis Roberto Bencomo, Jaime Agustin Bencomo and Carlos Bencomo; and six great-grandchildren. Silvia will be deeply missed by her loving family. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at San Jose De Duranes Church at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at San Jose De Duranes Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Mt. Larson -- Esther "Pat" Larson, 77, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away on March 9, 2002. Lowman -- Lola Lowman, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Sunday, March 10, 2002. She is survived by her daughters, Jo Crumley and husband, Roy, and Brenda Landers and husband, Gene; grandchildren, Sheila Keller and husband, Donald, and Doug Gaylor, all of Albuquerque; sister, Connie Rhodes of Farmington, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Duffie Lowman, in 1996. Mr. & Mrs. Lowman were charter members of Manzanita Sam's RV Club. She loved to garden with the help of her turtles. Martinez -- Corine Martinez, age 77, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, Sunday, March 10, 2002. Ms. Martinez was born in Bernalillo, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Mission; a member of the Carmelitas and of the Guadalupanos. She worked with the Senior Citizens until she retired for health reasons; she was know as"Grandma" to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Agustin Martinez. She is survived by five children and one step son, Delfin Martinez and wife, Regina, Mary Rose Garcia and husband, Ruben, Louis Martinez, Evon Kaze and husband, Woody, Agustin Martinez Jr., and wife, Mary, John Martinez; 25 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Linda Pena and husband, Erine; two brothers, Johnny Martinez and wife, Emily, Leo Jaramillo and wife, Pauline; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends. Moore -- Matthew "Matt" Moore, 15, a resident of Albuquerque, died, Saturday, March 9, 2002. He is survived by his parents, Fred and Linda Moore; sister, Meghan Moore; brothers, Michael Moore and Mitchell Moore; grandmother, Marie Moore, all of Albuquerque; numerous other family members; and friends. Matt was a student at La Cueva High School and a member of the Freshman Football Team, which was 2001 City Champions. Narvaiz -- Mrs. Josefita B. Narvaiz died Thursday, March 07, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 89. Mrs. Narvaiz is survived by her children, John E. Reid -- Alexander W. Reid, Jr., 79, a resident of lbuquerque, was gathered up by his Father in heaven on Thursday, March 7, 2002. Alex was born August 2, 1922 the son of Alexander W. and Veronica Bertha Bunge Reid in East St. Louis, Illinois. He joined the Navy in 1941 and survived the bombing of Pearl Harbor December 7, 1941. He was stationed on the USS Pennsylvania. He married Elvira Zaremski in Chicago, Illinois in 1953. Prior to retirement he was the owner of Ark Security for commercial and residential alarm systems. He spent several years in Yellowstone Park and enjoyed traveling around the country. He loved the outdoors, loved fishing and had a passion for playing tennis. Alex was also an avid ham radio operator. He was preceded in death by his parents. Alex is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elvira of Albuquerque; two sons, Alex Reid III and wife, Valerie of Huntington Beach, CA, and Philip Reid and wife, Cathy of Clovis, CA; grandchildren, Danielle and Aaron and Jonathan all of Clovis, CA. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowalrk Ln., Rio Rancho. Rolfe -- David Anthony Rolfe, born in Gary, IN on December 18, 1931, passed away in an Albuquerque hospital on March 11, 2002. Dave loved the outdoors and enjoyed it by pursuing gardening, fishing, and photography. Dave was a carpenter and a cabinetmaker. Dave recently retired after 36 years with Southern Union Gas, now PNM. During that time, the family resided in Albuquerque, Belen and, at the time of Dave's death, Los Lunas, NM. Dave was preceded in death by his father, Emil; mother, Helen; and a brother, Francis. Dave is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jackie Rolfe of Los Lunas; a brother, Joseph Rohloff and wife, Rose of Modesto, CA; three sons, Greg Rolfe and wife, Maria of Silver City, NM, Kevin Rolfe of Albuquerque and Randall Rolfe and wife, Debra of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Yvonne, Roderick and Timothy of Silver City, NM and Kevin, Jr. and Adam of Albuquerque; and a great-grandchild, Haley of Albuquerque. Rueckhaus -- Anne C. Rueckhaus, 89, an Albuquerque resident since 1938, died Sunday, March 10, 2002. She is survived by her son, Michael Rueckhaus and wife, Joan of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Paul A. of Albuquerque, Jeffrey R. of Seattle, WA and Stephen L. of Oakview, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Rueckhaus in 1995 and son, Randall Rueckhaus in 1993. Mrs. Rueckhaus was an active member of the Jewish Community in Albuquerque and was past President of the Sisterhood of B'Nai Israel. She contributed the Mel and Anne Rueckhaus Deli at the Jewish Community Center. Scott -- Mary Paul Raglin Scott, a resident of Albuquerque since 1946, died suddenly Sunday, March 10, 2002. She was 83 years old and had lived a full and happy life. She loved her family and many friends and neighbors, was active in volunteer work and was an excellent card player, playing bridge with her friends several times a month. She was active all of her life, and loved to spend time hiking the woods around the family cabin in the Jemez Mountains. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and she was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Asbury Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband, Carl Scott; her daughter, Carolyn and husband, Art Peterson and children, Jill and Gary and his wife, Cindy; great-grandson, Zachary; her son, Carl Brance and wife, Joyce and children, Heather and husband, Doug Quartetti, Trisha and husband, Patrick Poitras; great-grandsons, Benjamin and Brandon; her son, Paul and wife, Sandie and children, Susan and Michael; daughter, Cindy and husband, Rick Rogers and children, Molly and Stacy. Springfield -- Theresa (Terry) Springfield, 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, passed away on March 10, 2002. She is survived by her two daughters, Susan Harris and husband, Ronald of Albuquerque and Sally Koepke of Rio Rancho; two sons, Scott Springfield and wife, Karen of Broomfield, CO and Steven Springfield and wife, Eleanor of White Rock, NM; she is also survived by nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Tirado -- Pedro F. Tirado, 79, died, Thursday, March 7, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Luz D. Tirado of Albuquerque; sons, Frank Tirado and wife, Peggy, Jose N. Tirado, Pedro N. Tirado and wife, Michelle, Dennis C. Tirado and wife, Linda, and Milton F. Tirado and wife, Debora; daughter, Luz V. Tirado; ten grandchildren; sisters, Esther Muriel and Virginia Tirado. Mr. Tirado was a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico, College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts. He also received a Master's degree from Texas A & M and attended other institutions. He received diplomas in Agronomy, Natural Resources and Latin American Relations. Mr. Tirado worked for the State Dept. with the US Agency for International Development in Central and South America. Upon returning to Puerto Rico he worked in the Dept. of Natural Resources. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1976. He wrote several scientific books and pamphlets as a result of his research in the field and in laboratories that helped the agricultural development of various nations. Mr. Tirado was a Member Emeritus of the American Society of Agronomy, the American Institute of Biological Sciences and the College of Agronomists of Puerto Rico. Mr. Tirado was very proud of his children and continued to love and cherish his wife, children and grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.

Uzueta_ -- Ernest A. Uzueta, 79, a resident of Albuquerque for most of his life, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2002. Ernie was born January 26, 1923 in Deming, New Mexico. He had been a train mechanic and service technician for the railroad before retiring. He served in WW II in the US Marines. Ernie was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter 3, V.F.W. Post 99, Retired Santa Fe Railroad, and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Ernie will be remembered for his love of music. He entertained us all with his singing and guitar playing of Spanish ballads. Ernie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sally Uzueta of Albuquerque; three children, Randall Uzueta and wife, Judy, Stephen Uzueta, and Anna Chavez; two sisters, Mary Pena and Alicia; four brothers, Joe Uzueta, Willie Uzueta, Henry Enciso, and Manuel Enciso; eight grandchildren, Jeff Uzueta, Josh Uzueta, Adrianna Chavez, Camille Chavez, Samantha Chavez, Brenda Uzueta, Andrea Uzueta, and Stephanie Uzueta; and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Albuquerque Manor, with special appreciation to Jill and Linda, for all their loving care. The Rosary for Ernie will be recited this evening, Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, Albuquerque, NM with the Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, March 13, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jay Kinzer, Ray Baca, Robert Archibeque, Nick Zamora, Jeff Uzueta, Josh Uzueta and Joe Moreno. Warner -- Mrs. Prejedes "Lele" Warner, 96, went to be with the Lord March 9, 2002. A native New Mexican, she was preceded in death by her son, Desiderio Warner; and brother, Enriquez Gurule. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Veronica Warner; five grandchildren, Annette, Raymond, Senaida, Joseph, and Loretta; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other family and friends who loved and will miss her. A Memorial Rosary will be recited at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 309 Stover SW., on Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt.
