Garcia -- Nick T. Garcia was born in Albuquerque, NM. May 9, 1923 and passed away March 20, 2002 in Albuquerque. He was a retired plasterer, and loved to chop wood. Nick loved spending time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret of the family home in Corrales; eleven children, Frankie Garcia and wife, Juanita, Emily Gomez and husband, Alex, Nick Garcia and Gloria, Elizabeth Sanchez and husband, David, Barbara Montoya and husband, Tino, Andy Garcia and wife, Henrietta, Johnny Garcia and wife, Henrietta, Roberta Garcia and husband, Louis, Betty Bradley and husband, Kenny, Chris Garcia and wife, Rita, Bobby Garcia and wife, Eileen; brother, Valentine Garcia and wife, Rose; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, March 22, 2002 with burial following in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Gomez, Robert Garcia, Dave Sanchez, Ben Montoya, Martin Garcia, and Leroy Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Antonio Lopez and Anthony Delgado.
