Mora -- Mr. Fred Mora died Tuesday, March 26, 2002 in Albuquerque at the age of 57. Mr. Mora retired from the Albuquerque Fire Department after 21 1/ 2 years of service. He also served as a paratrooper with 101 Airborne during the Vietnam War. Mr. Mora is preceded in death by his father, Rafael Mora; brothers, Billy Mora and Juan Mora; nephew, Louis Nogales Jr; and mother-in-law, Della Perea. He is survived by his wife, Connie Mora; son, Daniel Mora; daughter, Yvonne Ybarra and husband, Eduardo; beloved grandchildren, Daniel Mora Jr., Angelina Mora and Eduardo Ybarra II; mother, Teresita Mora; brother, Vincent J. Mora and wife, Consuelo; sisters, Gloria Jean Nogales and husband, Louis, Lorraine Goss and husband, Jerome, Rozzanne Garcia and husband, Arthur; special aunt, Marcella Anaya; father-in-law, Eugene Perea; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary for Mr. Mora will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services without Mass will be held on Thursday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 8:15 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie Torres, Freddie Teupell, Ralph Mora, Joey Nogales, William Mora and James Mora. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eugene Baldonado, Eddie Perez, Larry Castleberry, Chito Valdez, Albuquerque Fire Department, Vincent Mora, Eugene Perea Jr, Arthur Garcia, Richard Crolette, Daniel Mora, Edward Ybarra, Jerome Goss, Louis Nogales Sr., Freddie Nogales and Lorenzo Castillo.
