Gillett -- Theresa Gillett, 96, a resident of Albuquerque for 55 years, died March 21, 2002 at Manzano del Sol Health Care Center. She was a native of Rockford, IL and a graduate of Rockford College and the University of Illinois Library School. She was Chief Cataloguer at the University of New Mexico until her retirement. After retirement, she became active in Friends of the Albuquerque Public Library and for many years sorted and priced books for the annual book sale. She was an active member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, where she had been historian, archivist and librarian. She is survived by a niece, Ann Howard of Cleveland, OH; and a nephew, Robert Gillett of Coos Bay, OR. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2002 at Manzano del Sol, 5201 Roma NE, where Ms. Gillett was one of the original residents.
