Hamilton -- Alice H. Hamilton, 96, a resident of Sabinal, NM passed away on Friday, March 29, 2002, after a lengthy illness. Her life exemplified her favorite Bible verse,"This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it" Ps. 118:24. She is preceded in death by Phillip S. Cotton and Robert N. Hamilton. She is survived by her daughter, Janice C. and her husband, Barney Carbajal Jr.; her grandchildren, Karen Reed; Robert Iorio, Barney Carbajal III, Leo Carbajal and Rick Carbajal and their families; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by other family and friends in New England and friends in Florida. A visitation will be held Monday, April 1, 2002 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, April 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Pastor Barney Carbajal III of Abundant Life Christian Center. Interment will take place following at the San Antonio Cemetery in Sabinal. The loving care of her friends and hospice caregivers are much appreciated by her family. A blessing earned by her lifetime of service to others. Romero Funeral Home, Belen will be assisting the family.
